The Wyoming Chocolate Festival is a local event and will be celebrating its 7th year. The Chocolate Festival brings local "Chocolatier" in competition hoping to win the best in their class, and of course People's Choice Award. Prizes are awarded Via Check . The evening event will take place on Friday, February 8th at 7:00 pm, at the Rock Springs Civic Center 410 N Street; You can sample the Chocolate creations and vote for your favorite. Wine and liqueur tasting silent auctions and raffles, complete the adult evening. Admission is $15.00. Kids’ Creations is in its 5th year and with the turn out last year we only hope it will be a bigger event this year. Kids have the opportunity to make their creations and win cash prizes just like the adults. This event is Saturday, February the 8th at 1:00 pm. Admission is $6.00. Activities, prizes, demonstrations, are just a few of what this fun CHOCOLATE filled day has to offer to all who attend.

This local event benefits the Urban Renewal Agency (URA). The City of Rock Springs Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is a certified Main Street program and is responsible for revitalizing the Urban Renewal District, which general encompasses the downtown central business district and the east entrance to the City of Rock Springs. Rock Springs Main Street is the advocate for the downtown and works to preserve, protect and promote those historical features. Rock Springs Main Street uses public and private resources to invests in the ideas and development of the community knowing future generations will be enriched by a vibrant downtown.
