"Rumors" is a masterpiece by an American great, Neil Simon, a master of witty wordplay and contemporary comedic situations. When Ken and Chris arrive at the home of prominent politician Charlie Brooks and discover an apparent suicide attempt, they feel it is their duty to protect their friend's reputation from the other guests, a task that grows increasingly complicated as the guests arrive, each armed with hearsay and second-hand news.
