Officers swear in

ROCK SPRINGS — The American Legion Archie Hay Post 24 will display a foot locker featuring items used in World War I from Saturday through Monday.

The exhibit is coming from the Wyoming Veterans Memorial Museum in Casper.

The foot locker includes items used in the trenches during the war such as helmets, clothing, mess kits, "anything they would have in their foot locker," Doug Uhrig said.

The display will be available to the public at the post's headquarters, 551 Broadway St., Rock Springs. It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the American Legion.
