ROCK SPRINGS — “Precious Treasures” is the topic for the next Christian Women’s After 5 Club meeting.

Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Western Wyoming Community College in Room 1003 at 2500 College Drive in Rock Springs. The cost is $15 and includes dinner.

Cathy O’Brien from Buffalo will be the guest speaker. She went from cattle ranching to a job in technology and from adversity to contentment. She will reveal information about opioid usage and abuse, and hopes to save others from pain by sharing her experience and journey from addiction, adversity and abuse to perseverance and a life filled with spiritual joy.

Participants should bring a wrapped, lovingly used item for a white elephant gift exchange. Music will be provided by Andi Kirk, a singer, pianist and guitarist who also plays the ukulele and violin.

After 5 is a nondenominational organization open to all women. Reservations are available by contacting Philann Lux at 307-362-6429.
