ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Family Recreation Center will host the annual Touch a Truck event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 8. The event is free.
Organizers said the display is a great opportunity for the whole family to get behind the wheel of some commercial and industrial vehicles.
The trucks will be on display in the parking lot of the recreation center. Rock Springs Civic Center Programs Superintendent JJ Syvrud said he and his co-worker, Robyn Rasmussen, got the original idea for the event while attending a state recreation convention.
This event is made possible with the collaboration of many local organizations and individuals, Syvrud explained.
