ROCK SPRINGS: A male gray tabby cat is the Rock Springs Animal Control Pet of the Week. He is about 18 months to two years old, very friendly and loves to play, staff said. He will be neutered and vaccinated upon adoption. To adopt him, visit Rock Springs Animal Control, 848 W. Center. It is open noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Kelsa, a 4-month-old red heeler and Anatolian shepherd mix, is the Red Desert Humane Society Pet of the Week. She is super sweet, loves attention and is very active, staff said. Kelsa is spayed, current on vaccinations and has a microchip. She likes everybody, seems to be fine around other animals and would be good for someone looking for a working class dog, staff said. To see her, visit the Red Desert Humane Society, 310 Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs. Its hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Calypso, a young female domestic medium hair cat, is the Green River Animal Control Pet of the Week. She is very sweet and laid back, staff said. Calypso gets along with other cats, likes everyone and loves to lie in the sun and relax, according to staff. To meet her, visit the Green River Animal Shelter, 80 E. Teton. Shelter hours are 2-4 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
