GREEN RIVER — The Green River City Council will consider an agreement with the Sweetwater Economic Development Coalition at Tuesday's meeting.
If approved, the city would pay SEDC $30,000 for fiscal year 2019-20 to assist the city in recruiting and diversifying businesses. Payments would be made through quarterly installments of $7,500.
Other things SEDC would perform in the deal include maintaining and upgrading an economic development website and an inventory that includes commercial and residential real estate listings on a Geographic Information System.
The city will also consider:
• An amendment to a contract between Green River and City Administrator Reed Clevenger. If approved, he would receive the same annual salary increases approved by the governing body as part of the annual budget for all full-time city employees as of July 1, 2019.
The addition of this language to Clevenger's contract would standardize salary administration across three contract employee positions that are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the Council, according to the meeting packet.
• Giving the Parks and Recreation Department the go-ahead to apply for a Wyoming Business Council energy improvement grant to upgrade to light emitting diode lighting at the recreation center.
• An agreement with the Muley Fanatic Foundation for the Mansface Mountain Music Festival.
