SWEETWATER COUNTY—A winter weather advisory is in effect for much of Sweetwater County on Tuesday and Wednesday.

There is a 70% chance of snow Tuesday night into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. On Wednesday, light to moderate snowfall is expected across much of Sweetwater County and the area east of the Continental Divide. New snow accumulation of one to three inches is possible.

An Arctic front will be bringing much colder temperatures. The low Tuesday will be around 9 degrees with wind chill values as low as zero. The high Wedensday should be near 17 with wind chill values again as low as zero. The low Wednesday night is expected to be around 1 degree with wind chill values as low as -10.
