ROCK SPRINGS — Barbara Jean Leeper, 64, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at her home in Rock Springs, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs.
Mrs. Leeper was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Rock Springs, the daughter of Ralph and Angelina Portillo. She graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1972 and obtained two associate degrees in computer science and accounting from Western Wyoming College in the 1990s.
She married Howard Leeper on June 24, 1989, in Rock Springs.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 Broadway St., Rock Springs. A vigil service with rosary will be conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at the same church.
Interment will be at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Tuesday one hour prior to the rosary and again at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be left at www.vasefuneralhomes.com.
