GREEN RIVER — The Green River Police Department reported one arrest:

Stephen Knoll, 30, of Rock Springs, was arrested April 8 on charges of alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance, suspected marijuana, less than 3 ounces, third offense; and unlawful possession, suspected heroin, less than three-tenths of a gram, third offense.

Knoll was arrested after officers responded to a Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately report. Officers observed the vehicle’s stop lamps were not illuminating at the rear of the vehicle.

During the issuance of the warning for improper stop lamps, the K-9 team that had initiated the traffic stop conducted a free-air sniff of the vehicle. K-9 Ridex alerted to the vehicle. After a search was performed, officers located drug paraphernalia, suspected marijuana, and a container with suspected heroin inside.
