SWEETWATER COUNTY -- Judgments recorded in the 3rd Judicial District Court of Sweetwater County include:
State of Wyoming vs. Daniel Lamar Bingham, Sept. 2, judgment and sentence. Bingham pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, no more than 3 ounces. Bingham received a suspended one-year jail sentence with 29 days credit and one year of supervised probation and was ordered to pay $495.
State of Wyoming vs. Kris Leon Oaks, Sept. 2, judgment and sentence. Oaks pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, no more than 3 grams. Oaks received a suspended three- to five-year prison sentence with four days credit and three years of supervised probation and was ordered to pay $495. A charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, was dismissed.
State of Wyoming vs. Denver James Eaton, Sept. 2, order suspending proceedings pursuant to Wyoming statute. Eaton pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, heroin, more than three-tenths of a gram. Eaton received three years of supervised probation with credit for six days served and was ordered to pay $545. A charge of possession of a controlled substance, meth, no more than 3 grams, was dismissed.
State of Wyoming vs. Michael James Maestas, Sept. 2, order of revocation of probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, no more than 3 grams. Ramirez received a one-year jail sentence with credit for 146 days credit.
State of Wyoming vs. Richard Anthony Saiz, Sept. 6, order of revocation of probation on an original charge of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, meth. Saiz received a three- to five-year prison sentence with 61 days credit.
State of Wyoming vs. Nathan Thomas Overy, Sept. 2, order of revocation of probation. Saiz received three years of supervised probation with credit for two days served.
State of Wyoming vs. Joseph Michael Gamper, Sept. 7, order denying sentence reduction.
Mark Bish vs. Steven Card, doing business as Wild Card Towing, Sept. 6, stipulation for dismissal of claims of punitive damages with prejudice.
Donna Goetz vs. Sweetwater County School District No. 1 and Sweetwater County School District No. 1 board of trustees, Sept. 7, order affirming in part, reversing in part and remanding. The findings of fact and conclusions of law and order issued Sept. 14, 2015, was reversed with respect to the agency's decision denying Goetz's due process objection, affirmed in all other respects and remanded to the board for further proceedings not inconsistent with the decision.
Gary B. Arnell Jr. vs. Nanette M. Arnell, Sept. 2, qualified domestic relations order, stipulated order modifying stipulated judgment and divorce decree.
Marty W. Rhodes vs. state of Wyoming, Sept. 6, order of assignment to 3rd Judicial District Judge Joseph B. Bluemel.
State of Wyoming vs. Lonnie Phillip Moffitt, Sept. 7, order denying sentence reduction.
State of Wyoming vs. Steven Dean McLaren, Sept. 6, judgment and sentence. McLaren was convicted by a jury for attempted second-degree murder, strangulation of a household member, battery, kidnapping and two counts of aggravated assault. McLaren received two 24- to 28-year prison sentences, two eight- to 10-year prison sentences and a four- to five-year prison sentence with 906 days credit and was ordered to pay $13,769.36.
State of Wyoming vs. Alta Margaret Hughes, Sept. 7, order dismissing petition for revocation of probation.
Dale J. Ballard vs. Nora R. Harlow, Sept. 1, income withholding order for child support.
Express Recovery Services Inc. vs. Terry Jones and Jenny Jones, Sept. 1, judgment. Express Recovery Services was awarded $68,670.07 against Terry Jones and $68,145.07 against Jenny Jones with interest plus after-accruing costs.
Amanda Lower, formerly Amanda Lower-Dworek vs. Jeffrey David Dworek Jr., Sept. 1, stipulated order to modify visitation.
In the matter of the change of name of Suzanne Janine Baron, Sept. 2, order granting change of name to Suzanne Janine Rozelle-Wright.
State of Wyoming vs. Brandon John Stanphill, Sept. 9, order of revocation of probation on an original charge of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, LSD, judgment and sentence. Stanphill received a suspended three- to six-year prison sentence with four days credit and three years of supervised probation and was ordered to pay $455.
State of Wyoming vs. Casiana Emma Legarreta, Sept. 9, order of revocation of probation on original charges of theft of identity and forgery. Legarreta received a two concurrent three- to six-year prison sentences with 66 days credit.
State of Wyoming vs. Mindy Deleon, Aug. 29, order to reassign matter and consolidate cases.
State of Wyoming vs. Aric Marshall Johnson, Sept. 8, judgment and sentence. Johnson pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual abuse of a minor. Johnson received an eight- to 20-year prison sentence with 194 days credit and was ordered to pay $295. A second charge of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor was dismissed.
